Don Connolly the beloved former mayor of Ballarat passed away

Just a sad note on the passing of Don Connolly a purveyor of desert lore, Don passed away yesterday, 08/08, in Ridgecrest at the age of 67. His wit and humor will be missed. He is a great loss to everyone that new him. I look back in great fondness at the many times I sat with him in front of the Ballarat General Store, nursing a cold one and watching the dust devils
