I stayed at Panamint Springs during the week of July 2nd. The thermometer on my rented SUV indicated 123F. You are correct - no TV, telephone and when I was there NO POWER! The power went out for about an hour but it didn't matter. I was with my wife and kids (first time kids were away from home) and we had a great time anyway. Great view, very quiet.
