My last trip up towards the Gold Bug was prior to the Labor Day storms. At that time I traveled up from Wingate Rd. and down to Pleasant Cnyn.
The actual road up to the Gold Bug was closed by a locked gate. Last year, Louie said someone cut off the lock. It has since been replaced and he has a key.
Since the storms, the road may be impassible on the Pleasant side. If you make the trip, don't forget to post your trip. Thanks
