Visit to Death Valley March 2002

Two 'Senior' Brits, last in Death Valley in '92, visiting again in March 2002. Only spent 1 day touring in car before. Would like to spend more time next visit. Any suggestions for best places to vist (by car) in Death Valley. No hiking suggestions please!!
