Not to detract from the helpful offerings in the previous response to your question, but I am not aware of any "graveyards" per se in Death Valley proper (well, maybe one or two of the ghost towns - Ballarat and Rhyolite come to mind, both being very near Death Valley proper), though there are several well-known burial sites within Death Valley. Among these are:
* The grave of Carl Mengel in the pass between Striped Butte Valley and Goler Wash in the south-western part of Death Valley.
* Walter Scott (Death Valley Scotty) is buried on the hill overlooking the "castle" that bears his name.
* Several of the ghost towns in and around the death valley area have the odd gravesite here and there. I'd have to do a bit of research to identify any specifics, but you could probably find this information on the internet faster than I could respond to it. I'm sure many members here have their own personal favorite "permanent Death Valley residents" to share. Cecil? Joel? Scooter (et al)???
