I played a couple of high school football games in Trona in 1971 and 1972, I lived in Tehachapi at the time, and the town was in pretty good shape. It does seem be a bit neglected. I actually kind of like the surreal feeling the town has.
Trona playing high school football against Trona High school back in 1971 and the town was alot nicer than it is now. I was living in Tehachapi at the time.
