I don't post here to often, and am more of a browser, but I thought I would bring up a few points here:

Coffeecan, Bodie The Dog,

Get a life! At least she is showing folks a true taste of what the desert is like, and she is not shipping them in on tour buses with DVD players and TV's! I don't know about you, but I would rather "wait at the top of Lippincott for 13 cars, driven by giggly novices" knowing that they are doing their best to learn and that they have had instruction, then have these "giggly novices" out on their own exploring the backcountry! Everyone has to start somewhere! Tell me this, what is the difference between having to wait for 13 vehicles in a tour, then having to wait for 13 vehicles that belong to a Jeep, Hummer, Land Rover, Land Cruiser, Tacoma TRD or any Off-Road Club? I don't see one...

Do you know that for every tour they lead, that they have to buy permits from the BLM or NPS? Do you know where that money goes? That money goes right back into the park/area to help keep roads open and maintained. You ever heard of OHMVR Commission (Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Commission)???? Jee, where does some of their funding come from? Why some of it comes from the very permits Cecile and gang has to buy to lead the tours! That permit fee is the very same money that when the time comes, is going to fix the South Park road. You guys, ever hear of the Annual Moose Anderson Days? On Sundays during the event there is always an interpretive four wheel drive tour. Do you know who leads that very tour, 100% free of charge, on their own personal time? Jee, maybe the same people you are bashing!

So why don't you try to learn more about someone and what exactly they do before you go off bashing them! After all, not all of us can live and work in Placer County!
