Traps: If a trap is set and a critter is captured, how long will it be till someone comes along and visits that cabin and finds the dead critter? Dead rodents tend to really stink up a cabin and they also attract other critters and pest such as ants!

Poisons: A few years back we had an Adopt-A-Cabin members beloved Dog pass away after accidentally ingesting some rat poison it found around one of the cabins. So 100% NO POISONS! The very same thing could have happened to a small child...

If you find rodents in a cabin, it is best to find where they have entered and as best you can, try to block there entry. Also, we do read the log books, write it up in the log book, and if you can, e-mail someone affiliated with the cabin and let them know what you saw/found rodent wise.
