steve, the lost burro mine is east of teakettle junction. burro gap is the pass between the two. a gps is a very good tool because there arent many trails in the 5,000 sq. miles of dv. i believe a seasoned dv'er wont get lost [but it can happen]. whenever you go from point to point over a mountain range and must hit a certain cyn a gps does help. chuck
