is....
with four wheel drive you get stuck farther
from the road.

I air down for sand, air same as road for rocks.
Low air pressure will over-heat the tires as they
flex more. The shocks and springs are for the bumps,
not the tires. Some SUV's are dangerus with low air
pressure, as they trip and roll easy (Fords).
I have had a 2wd F150 up to 70 per on the road to the
springs...south pass, valley floor. Not that smart
I know, but it was real smooth:) The tires died
two weeks later, but they were cheep ones, and so
it goes.
