From reading the Morning report and the news and some of the recent posts.Regarding Heat Illness. A lot of us think that we can do more than we can sometimes and looking back we realize just how lucky we were.I saw the Spirit Horse on my last Surprise Canyon trip last month and lived to tell it.12 miles in one day 112 degrees with vary little water.I had all the signs of heat stroke just shy of the dead part. That and the fact that visitors to my site are always asking me Desert Survival Questions so I started researching the topic.A lot is just using common sense but a lot of people don't have that nowadays.
My question is. What kind of situations have some of you been in and how do you avoid them.
Now I sound like one of the kids asking for help on a School report.
Happy Trails

Don't forget the water and Pedialyte
