Yes - very hot. If you do travel out there, start up in the morning before the rocks get hot (the hot sharp rocks can damage your tires). Be prepared with lots of water, Gatorade, salty chips, etc..... You might want to air down a bit and take it slowly. It's beautiful out there, and as mentioned in the previous posts, it might be wise to wait until the weather cools down a bit to make your Racetrack experience more enjoyable and memorable.
