Get rid of those stock Goodyear Wrangler tires!!!
I lost TWO of these misable tires on my King Ranch F150 tooling around the same Black Mountain. I blew a third one in the El Pasos!
Don't get me wrong -- I LOVE my Super Crew. It climbed Opal Mountain right out of the box! But I like it a lot more after springing for BFG's.
As I've said before, the single best upgrade for the desert backcountry is tires, because if all goes well, it will be the only thing that touches the ground.
