I hope you are not confused with the Warm Springs east of Butte Valley along the Warm Springs Canyon Road? They would be about 15 miles from Panamint Valley (probably about 20 or so). The Saline Valley Springs are well north of Panamint Valley. On Hwy 190 turn north a few miles east of the junction to Darwin. Follow that road until you come to a flat valley (Lee Flat) with the Joshua Tree forest. Take the right fork (the left one will take you to Cerro Gordo and back down to Hwy 190 at Keeler). Eventually you will see Panamint Valley on your right. Great view from the ridge between Saline and Panamint Valley. Take the left fork down into Saline Valley. (The right fork will take you over Hunter Mountain into Hidden Valley and the Racetrack). North of the lake you will come to a fork. Take the left one closest to the mountains. The other road rejoins the main road, but has spots of deep sand. The road to the springs is the first right turn after you have passed the Saline Valley sand dunes, well north of the lake itself. Please consult a map, so you will understand my directions. My first visit to the springs was on Christmas Day, 1965. I was the only person there. It is a great place! Have fun.
