Thanks for the information. Let me get be sure that I understand; once I'm in Cerro Gordo, possibly having come in from Saline Valey/Hunter Mountain area, I might find it difficult traversing the ridge to the tramway. I don't intend to drop down via Swansea grade, but I'm not sure of the few miles between the Tram and CG "town".
