If the question is posed, I'm certain that someone can provide up to date information on the condition of Goler Wash. The only stretch that would be problematic is no more than 150' long; a semi-steep climb over uneven terrain. I know that some people have done it in 2WD; I just don't know the current conditions. The rest of the road is only slightly worse than Hunter Mountain. By contrast, Lippincott Mine Road is 5-10X worse.
Butte Valley is big enough that if remote is what you want; you'll find it. You can work your way down Redlands Canyon or you can go down Anvil Springs a little ways, in search of the Missing Germans!
If no one responds to this message, pose the question yourself until someone does.
BTW, I think that the 49er Encampment may be during the period you will visit DV. This is good news/bad news. Might be fun and a good way to learn more about DV. But Furnace Creek will be overrun with people.
Good luck and have fun.
