Unfortunately no, I do not have any old photos. I was quite poor when I was out there. In fact, I didn't make enough dough as a glider pilot out there at the ranch airport to keep up my truck payments and even lost my wheels. Like I said, I finally left there a few years later in an airplane to go off to California to work. I was happy, though, while living at Hidden Hills-money or not. It was a nice place to be and there were great people out there. Wonderful visitors too. There were some great BBQ's and parties at the Canyon and Airport. Folks would come from Pahrump, DV ,Tecopa and Shoshone to visit regularly with the ranch & airport staff.

There was a feature article about the Glider operation at Hidden Hills in the Review Journal's Sunday suppliment called the "Nevadan" back then. There was a full color picture of us on the cover of that magazine. The article had a lot of info on the ranch and the canyon in it. I have zero pictures from the 70's there. Wish I did have some.

A search on the web can find a few images of the canyon during its hey day. Seach terms are:

Roland Wiley

Hidden Hills Ranch

Cathedral Canyon

Hidden Hills Airport

Hidden Hills Soaring
