I was just there and the ore car truck mount on the tressle is still on the tressle. The other ore car still stands you know where. The cabin has always been in a disarray and this includes its "windows smashed" and door being "torn off." It has been like this since my first visit back in 1985.
Lately, the camper shell has taken a beating.
On a recent visit to this site, I came across the owner and he is in the process of removing his property. This is to prevent it being looted and sold on eBay. This includes his ore cars, water tanks, and other material laying around the site.
Not sure when you last visited this site, but I was just there November 15, 2003.
I tried to email you from your "calling card" posted in the mine, but never got a response.
