Hi Rodger,

First off, check out the following pic;

http://ghosttownexplorers.org/california/spur/spur04.htm

This pic was taken a couple of years ago, note the windows are not broken and the door is still hanging on its hinges.

Rodger, funny but we almost ran into each other. We revisited the "Spur of the Momement Mine" on Sunday Nov. 16th, you were there on Sat the 15th!!

Note my trip posting on death-valley.us:
http://death-valley.us/postt1097.html

We found that someone had forgot a pair of something at the site, did you see them?

This is when we found the damage to the site, smashed windows, door torn off, ore cars tossed into the canyon below, water tank gone, stereo speakers gone, etc.

I have a recieved a few emails about the site, asking where it is, I dont respond to where is this site? emails.
I did get a email from some guys who explored the site and also found my calling card, they told me about how they found the site.

I dont remember geting a email from you, I may have deleted it inadvertantly (it may have been stuck between viagra and lose weight emails)!:).

I have always figured the site was on borrowed time, it's right under everybodys nose to the point of being funny.

I have NEVER given out the location of this sight, nor do I plan to.

I just can't belive that someone would hike up that canyon wall just to throw the ore cars off the tressle down to the canyon below.

-Lewis
