I know "Bill" personally and I assure you he did NOT live at the White Swan for 4 months -- or ever, for that matter. The White Swan is a dump and he has his own beautiful home. As for people signing the logbook, I have no doubt they are still going there. As I mentioned, the doors and windows are all broken and people just come and go as they please. But, note this well, neither the BLM nor the Adopt-A-Cabin volunteers have anything to do with the White Swan. We neither encourage nor discourage people going there, nor do we care. As for us "taking over" your (oops! I mean Ms. Hall's) claim, I note that taxes for 2004 have been paid, so to say we have "taken over" the structures is just more libel. Why doesn't Ms. Hall practice good citizenship and get that place cleaned up and made safe.
