Consider visiting some of the beautiful lands adjacent to Death Valley National Park. Outside the Park's boundries the lands are managed by the BLM, and here many more recreational activities are permitted than inside the Park.

Generally, as long as your dog is under your control, it is not required to be on leash. Do not allow it to chase or harass wildlife, and try bury your dog's poops. Also, always be on the look out for unfenced mine shafts that are easy for nosey dogs to fall into.
