I have to say that I don't entirely agree with that statement. First, we are dealing with a national park, and it does belong to all citizens equally. While it is nice to think that by right of discovery others should not have access to our favorite places this is a hard position to defend. Second, I have seen very little information on this website that I have not also found in books that are readily accessible through Amazon and other bookstores. While it may be marginally easier to peruse this site than to pick up a book, I think the same curiosity about this area that drives one to inquire at all will further cause one to find other resources before heading out. Third, the remoteness of the area alone helps weed out somewhat the folks that have no right being there. Its not like mentioning Goler Wash will cause a bunch of highschool kids to turn it into a party spot. Finally, when you consider the growth of SoCal over the past several decades and the Las Vegas area over the last ten years or so, increased traffic would be inevitable whether or not this website existed.
All that being said, I do have to agree that certain things such as glyphs, unspoiled digs and other archeological sites are best left to those willing to do further research than this site demands.
