Even though there are many people out on the trails, how many will stand up and be counted when the government tries to close a road. How many of you have attended a meeting and/or written letters protesting road closures? I know a fair amount of Sierra Clubbers who have stated that the headquarters in the gay bay do not represent the membership's opinion on land use. We are experiencing another example of a minority (green advocacy groups) dictating what "is good" for the majority. If you do not like roads being closed on PUBLIC LANDS, get involved, let your voice be heard.
