I hope you donít mind if I ask you a few questions. I tend to think of plants and their roots in time frames of seasons, years, and months and maybe clusters of weeks. Not hours.
If ET was extracting an appreciable amount of water from a Panamint creek---which will have the same original flow from its source for two days in a row---on a windless summer day of 110 degrees F. and then the next day there is again 110 degrees of heat but with a twenty mile-an-hour wind would we notice a lesser amount of water in the creek on the second day? Does the ET reaction happen that fast?
