Even though a weight limit for the bridge is posted, anytime you cross the bridge you are at your own risk to a certain extent. So you probably will not get a definite nod from anyone here.
But I do know that fully loaded Suburbans and a late 70's 3/4 Ton long bed Dodge PowerWagon have gone across without visible movement of the poles. I have taken my fully loaded FJ40 Landcruiser with a Batam military trailer in tow twice across the bridge.
The Cruiser is very near 5000 lbs curb weight alone, with the hard top, and the trailer was somewhere between 1500 and 2000 lbs.
I rather doubt that your Montero is anywhere close to the weight of my Cruiser, but check the manual. I don't know what type of utility trailer you have either. You will have to compare on your own with the info that I have given and decide for yourself. It is a wonderful trail on the loop!
