Wild flowers indeeed going crazy. Best elevation right now is 3500 feet. Lowest elevations are already drying out. My shoes are literally stained yellow from hiking. You simply cannot avoid them. I was 21 miles east of red mountain in the grass valley wilderness. Acres of yellow tiny flowers....purples, some reds and poppies at the california poppy preserve. I took a video camara with a which allows focused pictures at 1 inch an it really plays back great on the television. Enjoy.............
