I have taken a Ford Maverick and Toyota Corona stationwagon, both loaded to the gills, through Titus Canyon. It depends on the condition of the road (recent storms, when was the last time they graded it, and so on) and your skill factor. Can you change a flat in the gravel? Can you build road through ruts and washouts? Know how to drive in sand and loose gravel? If you talk to the Park Service, you would need a 4x4 to go drive around in the campgrounds, and they would suggest writing your will if you venture down Titus Canyon. They advise to the lowest common factor, that is, Bluto from Indiana driving a Road Maggot (motorhome).

Having said all this, no, I don't know the current condition of the road. All things being equal, you should be able to make it in anything with greater clearance than a Geo Metro.
