Picture Posting Help

I need a little help. I know it's been explained before...but you know about dumb farmers. How do you do it? When you open up a post and there's some text and a picture just appears without clicking on anything. I'd like to post a picture - but can't figure it out. I went back in the archives and reread some tips, but I still don't get it. Please speak slowly and clearly for me, as in Step 1, Step 2... Thanks, Farmer Dean. P.S. I checked and my picture formate is JPEG.
