Truth to that. I made a recent trip from the SF Bay area to San Luis Obispo. Hwy 101 just north of Gonzales was closed due to a major wreck. By the time I passed it I saw a roundish blob of metal in the weeds adjacent to the freeway that was probably once a vehicle. The big rigs nearby had also been totalled but were recognizable. I'm just pleased I was nowhere near the site when the crash occurred!
