This is a subject dear to my heart. All I have to say is the fast lane (the one on the far left ...) should be used for passing only - especially on 395 where there are no "traffic jams". Also - read the sign: "Slow traffic keep right". In other words, unless you are the passing, you ARE the slow traffic... Why do people going 60, 65, 70 even 75 think they have the "right" to sit in the fast lane? I agree with the earlier post - these are the people causing the accidents. After I pass someone I merge always back to the right lane - others should try it sometime.
