Bob, you need anger management. Exceeding the speed limit is hardly the threat to your safety and society in general that you're making it out to be. A brief tailgate can send along the message that you want to pass. No reason to hang out there once it's obvious the other person knows what you want.

Also, I just made a 14 year run without any traffic tickets, can you say the same? So no tickets, no arguing with the Law. They certainly don't get me twisted up. The majority of cops, especially CHP, are true professionals, and I treat them accordingly.

Please try to understand that some of us live in the area you're coming to visit. While you many be on vacation, just moseying along and enjoying the view, I may be late to work, I may actually have somewhere to be.

Why can't you just pull over and let faster traffic pass you? Do you really have to insist that you're right!? I don't understand the common mentality that "I'm right, so screw you, I'm staying in this lane." Can't you share the road? When you suddenly stamp on your brakes because you think I'm tailgating, do you understand that it affects those other cars behind me? And you don't have to wait for the legal limit of 5 cars before using a turnout.

Why not pull over and let me by? Keep your eye on the newspapers, and you'll note a lot of crashes are caused by unsafe passing. And guess what: those crashes can affect the cars being passed, too, not just the idiot going too fast. Is that really worth being right?
