a dual sport bike is a motorcycle that is legal/street licensed for highway use and also capable of going off road. death valley has some great trails for an easy paced, scenic motobike adventure. you should know how to do simple on the road repairs, flat tire repair.., bring plenty of water and have left info of your plans with someone who can find you if something goes wrong....
i rode a yamaha 250cc 4-stroke,water cooled street legal dirt bike thru titus and butte valley area and had a blast. slow and easy(slow to enjoy the scenery and easy for my aching back:) the trails are very tame for a bike.
you will be surprised how much you can see just putting along and exploring all the side roads etc. along your way. ride only on the established roads and obey all the rules and you will avoid ranger problems. check out the link for a few pics of the dual sport ride.
