Desert Magazine - the craze

Issues dated in the 1980's can fetch up to $150. Reason being, they're rare and hard to come by because very few were printed.
I complete set in good/excellent condition can fetch a price as high as $3,500 to $4,500 on eBay. One sold for $2,900 a few months back. Several issues were worn, covers loose, etc.
With the DM Index book, only 500 were printed and these too fetch a very high price. Typically, they go for around $100 to $150 on eBay and on rare book sites.
I heard a rumor the complete set will be on a CD collection later this year.
