Thank you so much David. Someone in Bishop told me back 1988 that the children had died of some type of disease they contracted while their party was migrating to the Owens Valley. However they added that this was strictly legend. I'm so glad it's still there and cared for. Somehow, when I read the names and ages, it touched me, as well as all the German tourists I've taken by there.
