(1) I'm not anti-law, I'm against no-tolerance laws, enforcing the law blindly and to the maximum extent possible (unless you're law enforcement or connected to them); Zero tolerance is filling our prisons and ruining some otherwise good people.
(3) Give credit where it is due; do you really think a helicopter only "assisted" in finding the suspect, or was the heli spotter the person who first spotted the bandit? Blind worship of law enforcement, sports stars, and actors annoys me, same thing was done in Rome and is indicative of the decline of that civilization;
(4) I like cops, they do a tough job. I don't like bad cops, of which there are many. This isn't based upon a criminal history, but upon knowing many, working with them, partying with them.
(5) Is it possible to disagree with me without accusing me of having confrontations with the law? Are you so worried about my opinions that you must try to invalidate them in that manner? Yehaw, American, land of the open debate and tolerance of differing opinions!

On the contrary, I'm aware that having any attitude other than complete meekness and subservience when dealing with the police will result in making the situation only worse. They call it the "attitude test." That's the difference between me and cops, I won't retaliate against someone for having a bad attitude or using strong words. Did Mr. Brenner not learn the kindergarten lesson about "sticks and stones?" Is a citizen's bad attitude sufficient justification to bully and implicitly threaten him or her?

Is there some kind of citizen's award we can give Zeke and Hairy? Bob, that was a joke.
