Hi Lew. This article brings to mind a couple of things:

.) Stock tires - all those flat tires cause heartburn and acid reflux. Memories of the stock Goodyear Wranglers on my S-10 4x4 caused this same feeling. B.F. Goodriches were the No. #1 best investment I could make. Remember Lew, when we were out prowling the Sarcobatus last year, when you told me the tires on your Cherokee (Goodyear Wrangler RTS) meant "Really Thin Spare?"

.) What the heck did they bring the Cadillac Escalade for?? It's made for ... what the hell WAS it made for??? Beats me. I don't even drive my Cadillac deVille Concours on a dirt road, I would never drive a $50,000 Cadillac SUV (or any other $35,000+ SUV) off road. That's what my S-10 is for.

.) Wonder if the dunes shown were Dumont. I can't see the Park Service letting them on the dunes, unless just a teensy bit of dune off the road to the original Stovepipe Well.

.) Wonder if the mine was actually the Eureka at Harrisburg ghost town site. They could easily embellish it up with text and camera angles (and don't let Randi near these guys).
