Thanks for the detailed report. Especially the Pleasent Cnyn part. I have yet to make that part of the loop since the storms over Labor Day weekend.
Just this past weekend, I made the climb up Southpark to the Briggs Camp and found it refreshingly challenging!
We did not have to get out of our vehicles and were able to navigate all the way to the top without any damage. However, as you know, there were some real interesting places.
Unfortunately, we only spent Saturday night at the cabin. However, we shared it with Joel Briggs, "The Desert Drifter", and DezDan. And, as anyone who's been there knows, one night is better than no nights.
I believe it's a "good thing" to have the road a bit jacked up. Sometimes in the past it has been so easy that anyone in a "Sunday afternoon Explore" could make their way up. I for one enjoyed the "new road" and doing some 4 wheeling!
