Luckily, I've a good memory for place names and recalled seeing it labeled on a regular blue USGS 1:100,000 map during my last visit to the Owlsheads in Dec '99. Also, if my memory serves me correctly, I thought I saw the shimmer of a tin roof in that general direction during the late afternoon sun...
However, before posting, I doublecheck my memory on Topozone.com and I also found that this Quail Spring is NOT in the database, despite being clearly labeled on their maps! Maybe this Quail Spring was accidentally omitted from the standard USGS dataset?
