Middle Park – Around sunset, driving one of the dirt roads up there and came across four dancing rattlesnakes in the middle of the road. I stopped, and watched them for about 15 minutes. Simply amazing. Twining upward and twisting all around, as if “dirty” dancing with each other. 5/02
Keeler 136/190 Turn Off. About 3 or 4 miles south of the intersection on I-190, came across several hundred telephone books – set up to be the shape of a man. Wish I took a picture of it. Funniest thing I have ever saw. This was back in the late 80's - early 90's.
Exploring a mine in the Last Chance Range, at the end of one of the tunnels was a bar, yes a bar, with about 50 of those small liquor bottles. It also had a tip glass with about $5 in change. We did a toast and left $3. I will post a picture of this when I can find it. 10/98.
