Absolutely right Chawala, enjoy Death Valley while it still has open roads.
My post was just to point out to all the less informed people that stock sometimes won't hack it on the trail, but I figured you knew what you are talking about and probably had modifications on your suburban, so I wanted to point that out to any future 4x4 owner who might misunderstand what you were saying.
