Redlands Canyon Road

How far down Redlands Canyon can one drive with a 4X4 from Butte Valley? Is the hike to Redlands Spring and Manly/Roger's "precipice" very far? Also, are there any mining camps to the North between Redlands Canyon and Big Horn Canyon? The topos indicate an elevated "valley" between Redlands Canyon and Big Horn Canyon. Thank you for any information.
