Panamint Springs and Thanksgiving???

For the past 15 years, we have spent every Thanksgiving out in the Death Valley Area. (What a great way to get away from the inlaws)!!!
Anyway, Thanksgiving diner has consisted of
turkey warmed over the campfire, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans, etc, all cooked at some remote location. Just the wife and I and the kids.
Last year we were at a Chinese railroad workers camp, the year before near a Indian sleeping circle in Hanapah Canyon, the year before that the Spur of the Moment Mine, etc.

I have seen in the past some brief postive posts about Thanksgiving Dinner at Panamint Springs. Is this a pot-luck, or a dinner at a specific time?

The last time we were near Panamint Springs on Thanksgiving, we had just finished hiking up Knight Canyon, and it was geting late, we blew off the possiblity of Thanksgiving diner cause it was so late in the evening.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, will this dinner be held again (perhaps for the last time?)and at what time?

Any and all feedback welcome.

Thanks, Lewis
