Last Chance Canyon is easily accessible from Garlock Road - the turnoff marked with the oil drum about 2 miles west of Garlock townsite. There are no obstructions on that route. The Goler Wash route is unadvisable. The Mesquite Canyon route is OK, but you have to enter Last Chance Canyon from the east and it is out of the way compared to the first route. There is also access from SR14 about 5 miles north of Red Rock Canyon via a well-graded roadway. The best and easiest route is from Garlock Road at the oil drum. Have fun!
