I just got home a few hours ago from Panamint City.
Weather was great highs in town around the mid 70's with lows recorded last night at the Hilton of 58 degrees. Highs in the Valley near 100.

A great achievement was made this weekend. We have restored water to the Kitchen of the Hilton and the Hydrant in the garage also has killer pressure behind it. We installed a pipe on the outside to control the hammer effect from turning on and shutting off the water. After fixing the HACK JOB someone did on the plumbing under the Cabin I did not have enough fittings left to get the toilet hooked back up. A bucket was left in the kitchen to fill the tank though.

We spent a lot of time cleaning the cabin but I did not have time left to clean the bathroom or back room.It appears that many people are enjoying the cabin but are turning a blind eye when it comes to cleaning up after themselves.

I also left a new hammock on the front porch.

If anyone plans to head up there soon I would suggest that the cistern be bleached and scrubbed out and the lid be put back on.There was a small amount of algae in the tank thanks to the person that pushed the lid over.

Many thanks to my bud Raynard the Desert Fox for making the Hanta crawl with me under the cabin to fix the plumbing.

I should have some pics up by lunch time Monday

Happy Trails,

Charles
