Thought I had posted a message down below regarding the memorial - I am friends with John and Roxie Bowden who are current caretakers. We are requesting that the memorial be invitation only as the town, the roads, and those old buildings will only handle so many, regrettably. A memorial fund has been set up and donations can be sent to Jody Stewart-Patterson Memorial Fund, c/of Jean Bennet 1275 Sage Court, Ridgecrest, CA 93555. The funds will be used for a flower garden, a plaque honoring Jody, and continued restoration of the American Hotel. For those of you invited to the memorial, I will be there for the Memorial and for a good portion of May helping John and Roxie out. Perhaps I will get an opportunity to meet you.
