Escape from Death Valley — Johnson book

I have to say again what a fabulous book this is. The authors did SO much research, hiking canyons over and over, matching up descriptions and small bits of information. Their scientific methods are well explained in the beginning of the book and they cross reference everything, including other authors conclusions and why their's differ.

For anyone who is really interested in this subject, as I became after listening to a small snippet of the tale told by Emmett Harder, this book is a must read.
