Goler Wash

I drove up Goler Wash yesterday doing a bit of geocaching and I must say WOW! After reading much on the route I was not sure the Tracker would make it up, but she did with a bit of coaxing and a promise of a good wash later. Going back was a bit easier except for the one bad dry falls. That was more scarey that I had anticipated. But heck, we went for it. :-)

What a wonderful place with the stream and spring. Does that run year round? Is the water potable? I tried to see where the water originated but it was too hidden by brush.

But that road along the lake is horrid. I think all my parts are shook to death.

I took a friend out with me and she wanted to know where the water in the lakebed came from - I figured it was water that worked its way down from the mountains but really didn't know.

Anyone know?
