I will be out in Panamint's this week-end as with the Argus Range with the BLM- if you are heading through Panamint Valley - which I recommend to get to Saline Valley - let me give you a radio. It is getting hot and there is some questionable people in Saline Valley...
Be careful out there... call me and let me know what route you plan to take.
I would feel better with you having a radio - just in case.
I do plan to go out to Saline Valley May 3-5 to check out some cabins - I will be coming in through the South Pass exiting out of the North Pass. I will be camping at the springs Saturday night. If you wish to join me on this one - I have room.
