I agree with Pugsly. Stovepipe Wells is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms have A/C and they've got a swimming pool for the kids. Most importantly, they have a great Saloon. Todd the bartender will give you some tips on where to go in DV. Enjoy - and keep lots of water with you.
