The conciere at the hotel will have a direct line with budget rent a car.Get a new jeep for 39 buckaroos per day. Bag a cheap room at panamint springs resort to avoid the long commute. Jerry or any of the folks at the resort will direct you to several easy entry level 4x4 roads that are away from the crowds. You can see all the tourist spots enroute to the hotel. Panamint springs is away from all the crowds and you will enjoy your stay.Travel safe and stay on the trails. Have your cell phone and lots of water anytime you visit. Enjoy!
